JUNE AND JULY’S FEATURED POTTER: TRACY SUTTON

OUR POTTER’S SPOTLIGHT WILL FEATURE Tracy’S WORK IN THE GUILD SHOP
FOR THE ENTIRE MONTHs OF June and July.

The Ceramic Arts Center's Featured Potter for June and July is guild member Tracy Sutton, who combines a love for painting and ceramics to produce a wide variety of hand-painted functional pottery.

Although Tracy has been painting and drawing most of her life, she was introduced to pottery four years ago when her daughter asked if she wanted to take a beginning ceramics class at Wilson College. What began as an opportunity to spend time with her daughter, quickly developed into a passion for the ceramic arts.  Tracy has been “slinging mud” ever since.

Tracy and her husband Scott reside in Greencastle, PA.  Employed by Johnson Controls as a Mechanical Engineer, Tracy spends her free time throwing pottery at home with two of her biggest fans and pet dogs, Rose and Pepper, by her side.

In addition to supporting her pursuit of the arts, the two Labradors have also inspired the name of her home and online art business, Black Pepper Rose Arts.

Please join us on Friday, June 7th from 5-8 pm at the Ceramic Arts Center, 13 S. Church Street in Waynesboro, PA as we showcase Tracy's pottery.
